Delivery & Care

We strive to ensure that our chocolates arrive safely and in perfect condition. Before placing your order, please review our shipping and care policies.

**Shipping**

Please be aware that we are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or any damage caused by USPS, or due to incorrect shipping information provided by the purchaser. Our shipping days are usually Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to avoid delays associated with weekend deliveries. To prevent a missed or rescheduled delivery, please make sure to ship your chocolates to an address where someone can expect their arrival.

We also offer local delivery options in the Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Chesapeake areas of Virginia and will contact you upon placing your order to schedule your preferred delivery date and time.

**Packaging**

To minimize the risk of chocolate melting during transit, especially to warmer climates (around 65 degrees and higher), we use thermal protection and cold packs. Please note that these protective measures are effective for approximately 36 hours. Therefore, Next Day Air shipping is highly recommended for locations experiencing temperatures above 73 degrees.

**Return Policy**

All of our chocolates are handmade and considered perishable food items. As such, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. However, we want you to be satisfied with our products and to be lifetime customers. If you encounter any issues with your order, please email us at hello@focalpointchocolates.com, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

**Care**

We recommend enjoying our chocolates within five weeks of receiving your order, although they can last up to two months at the cooler end of room temperature. Please note that refrigerating or freezing our chocolates may alter their texture.
